Spring Trends 2026

Style becomes powerful when it’s intentional. Trends should enhance who you are,

not distract from it.

~Robyn Balsley

There’s a natural urge to refresh this time of year, but here’s what I remind my clients... you don’t need to chase every trend to feel current.

The real magic happens when you choose what aligns with your personal style, items that are already in your closet, and most important…pieces that make you feel confident walking into any room.

What I love most about spring style is the sense of possibility it brings. A new season invites us to experiment, refresh, and express ourselves in ways that feel energizing and authentic

This season’s trends feel especially wearable; grounded colors, beautiful textures, and accessories that add personality without overwhelming your look.

Here are a few of the trends I’m especially loving right now and am sure you can make it your own.

Color: Fresh, Earthy, and Unexpected

Spring color palettes this year feel grounded but still joyful. Instead of overly bright hues, we’re seeing muted, earthy tones that feel sophisticated and wearable.

What I’m loving:

Green — The New Neutral

From soft sage to rich olive and fresh grass tones, green is everywhere this season. It’s surprisingly versatile and pairs beautifully with navy, cream, camel, and denim.

Blue — Calm, Confident, and Classic

Think powder blue, sky blue, and softened navy. Blue is always elegant and this season it’s showing up in relaxed tailoring, blouses, and light outerwear. Cobalt blue is a great way to add a pop of color.

Yellow — The Happy Accent

Butter yellow is having a moment. It’s softer than traditional bright yellow and incredibly flattering. Even a small touch; a blouse, scarf, or handbag can brighten an entire look.

✨ Style Tip:

Some of my favorite color combinations right now include:

  • Olive + powder blue

  • Butter yellow + navy

  • Sage green + soft camel

Textures & Prints: A Modern Take

This season is less about delicate romantic looks and more about confident texture and pattern.

Three standouts I’m seeing everywhere:

Modern Plaid

Plaid is returning in updated silhouettes and lighter fabrics. This season, it moves away from anything too traditional and instead feels cleaner, more styled, and easier to wear. It brings structure and character to a look while still feeling current and approachable.

Bold Floral

Florals never truly leave spring fashion, but this year they’re bolder and more graphic rather than soft and romantic. A statement floral blouse paired with clean tailoring feels fresh and powerful.

Leather & Suede for Spring

Yes, leather in spring! Lightweight leather jackets, suede skirts, and soft leather accessories add depth and polish to spring outfits.

✨ Style Tip:

Mixing texture is one of the easiest ways to elevate an outfit; suede with silk, leather with denim, or plaid with crisp cotton.

Accessories: The Instant Style Upgrade

If you want to incorporate trends without rebuilding your wardrobe, accessories are your best friend. They’re also one of the easiest ways to express personality.

The Return of the Big Bag

After years of micro bags, we’re seeing a shift toward beautiful, functional bags that actually hold your life.

Bold Jewelry

Statement pieces are back — especially sculptural earrings and bold cuff bracelets. A strong jewelry piece can transform even the simplest outfit.

(You know how much I love a great cuff bracelet.)

Belts That Make a Statement

Belts are becoming a focal point again; wider styles, interesting buckles, and rich leather. A belt can completely reshape a dress, blazer, or high-waisted trousers.

The Real Trend That Matters

The most important trend isn’t a color or silhouette.

It’s intentional style.

When you choose pieces that reflect who you are, your lifestyle, your personality, your confidence, your wardrobe works for you.

If a trend feels aligned with your style, it can absolutely be worth the investment.

If it doesn’t, you can experiment with more affordable pieces or accessories.

Either way, the goal is the same:

To feel like yourself, just slightly elevated.

And that is always in style.
